Source notes

  • The name Millhausen is also seen in the records as changed to Millison, Millson, Millron.
  • There is a gravestone for a James A. Cratty (Nov 28,1840-Oct 21, 1919) & wife Mahala B. Cratty (May 26, 1846 - May 20, 1926) at Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery, Franklin Twp., Butler Co. PA. However, they appear in the 1900 U.S. census for Franklin Twp. Butler Co. with his birth date listed as Nov. 1840, his age as 59. It is assumed this is not the son of Tamson Wilson and James Cratty Jr., but perhaps a nephew. A family of John Cratty live 2 doors away.

  • It is thought that John T. Wilson's information came from the 1895 History of Butler Co., rather than from family knowledge.
