Without a name for her father, census records for Mary Baum can not be found prior to her marriage. As with her husband, James Wilson, no record is found after 1850.
Possible connections:
- 1860 Census, German Township, Harrison County, OH, pg. 19-20 lists the Thomas and Jane Wilson family with children James B., Robert D., Martha A., and Thomas E. Also in the home are two older women, Ann and Mary Wilson. Mary has the right birth year and was born in PA. Harrison county is close to the border with western PA near Butler Co. Census images have been uploaded.
- No Mary Wilson of the right age, born in PA, as a widow, is found in 1860 census in Scioto Co. OH or the other counties in OH bordering Scioto. No Mary Wilson born ~1806 is found in the 1860 census for KY.
