Source notes
- Henderson Wilson's age varies through the various census; we take his birth month of October from the 1900 census, but expect that the earliest census, 1870, which puts his age at 8 years, to be most accurate for age, thus indicating a birth year of 1862. The marriage date is calculated from the 1910 census note that they were age 24 at marriage. John T. Wilson records Henderson Wilson's dates as 1862-1927.
- The source for the 1927 death date given by John T. Wilson is unknown. The gravestone for Henderson Wilson has not been located. The Butler County Cemetery inventory, Vol. 2, Emanuel Lutheran cemetery, Prospect borough, Franklin Twp., lists near the plot of Lot & Nancy Wilson a stone apparently poorly legible, no dates legible, and the surname as "Wilson?, H. A." This could be the stone for Henderson H. Wilson; or it could be for Hiram Milhausen, brother-in-law of Lot Wilson.
