 +
* If Mary Jane Wilson was indeed already age 1 at time of 1860 census, then her June birth (see 1900 census) was between June 1 and June 8, the date of the1860 census.
 +
* Geraldine M. Wilson, listed as the "niece" of Mary Jane Wilson in the 1930 census, was actually her great-niece,  the daughter of her nephew [[George Henderson Wilson]].
 +
* Per Finke/ death certificate: parents of ''Sylvester Shoaf'' were ''Peter Shoaf'' & ''Elizabeth Mary Stoughton''. Per our research, ''Elizabeth Mary Stoughton'' was a  daughter of [[William Stoughton (1797)]].
 +
 +
=Conjecture=
 +
*Per Jan Finke:  Vester Shoaf and Mary Jane Wilson had a 3rd child,(besides Tillie and Robert L.) apparently a twin to Robert L. Shoaf, both born 7 Nov 1894. The twin, given name unknown, died 15 June 1895 in Prospect. However, the 1900 census reports only 2 children born to Mary Jane Wilson, and only one living in 1900.

[edit] Source Notes

  • If Mary Jane Wilson was indeed already age 1 at time of 1860 census, then her June birth (see 1900 census) was between June 1 and June 8, the date of the1860 census.
  • Geraldine M. Wilson, listed as the "niece" of Mary Jane Wilson in the 1930 census, was actually her great-niece, the daughter of her nephew George Henderson Wilson.
  • Per Finke/ death certificate: parents of Sylvester Shoaf were Peter Shoaf & Elizabeth Mary Stoughton. Per our research, Elizabeth Mary Stoughton was a daughter of William Stoughton (1797).

[edit] Conjecture

  • Per Jan Finke: Vester Shoaf and Mary Jane Wilson had a 3rd child,(besides Tillie and Robert L.) apparently a twin to Robert L. Shoaf, both born 7 Nov 1894. The twin, given name unknown, died 15 June 1895 in Prospect. However, the 1900 census reports only 2 children born to Mary Jane Wilson, and only one living in 1900.
