- Mariah Wilson's dates are calculated as follows: On the census date of 8 June 1870, Mariah was 9 mos. old, suggesting a birth date in Sept. of 1869.If she were born after the 8th of the month, technically she would not be 9 mos old by the census date; however they may have rounded her age forward if she were over 8.5 months old. Giving 2 weeks leeway after the census date, she may have been born Sept. 1 to about Sept. 22. Her death date & age (Aug., 1877 (day illegible), age 9 yrs. 11 mo, 7 da.) does not refine the date estimate.
