He is a farmer and now owns and occupies a farm of 77 acres, and is also engaged in the oil business. He has been school director for several terms. His parents were Jacob and Susannah (Weter) Kline. W. J. Kline was married on Feb. 28, 1870 to Christina Best, a daughter of John and Margaret (Smail) Best, who came from Westmoreland county in 1804. They have three children - Ida L., Warren E., and Elmer S."
