Immigrant by 1840
Johan Frederick Dietrich was born in 1822, confirmed at age 16, and worked as a wagon maker in Germany. He immigrated to America, and by 1840 was settled in Allegheny County PA. He wed Anna Elizabeth Meyers in PA and in 1849 their first child was born. In Oct. 1855 John Dietrich became a U.S. citizen.
