Mary Frederick is not in my direct ancestry. She is 1 step removed in the following ways:

Mary was the first Frederick born in America, in August of 1852, shortly after her parents crossed the ocean from England. They were born in Hesse Germany, her mother in Frankershausen and her father in Hitzerode. She married Will Dietrich whose family also immigrated from Hitzerode, Germany. They had two children, born 1872 & 1876. Mary & Will returned to his parental Dietrich farm in Indiana twp., Allegheny Co. PA in the mid-1870's where they remained until their deaths. Mary died about 1921, aged about sixty-nine. They are buried at the Etna Cemetery in Allegheny Co. PA.
