This county, which includes the city of Columbus, lies about 40 miles east of Miami Co. OH, where the family of John Dalzell lived in 1850. No John Dalzell is found in 1840 in Miami Co. This John Dalzell of Franklin Co. seems the closest match, if the 1 female under age 5 in indeed marked. If this is the correct family, then the son that died in infancy (per Margaret Dalzell Townsley) would have been born 1839-1840, depending on the writer's definition of "infancy".
