1 1860 United States Federal Census, Muddy Creek Township, Butler County, PA, Page 14, Lines 39-40 lists Lot Wilson, 29, as a farmer married to Nancy Wilson, 33. They are listed as living with their three children, son Dunwoodie Wilson, 6, son James Wilson, 3, and daughter Nancy J. Wilson, 1. Lot is listed as having been born in PA. The previous record on Page 14 is for the family of James C. Gallagher, Nancy's father. Previous to the Gallaghers is the record of the family of James and Tamson Cratty, Tamson being Lot Wilson's sister. This suggests that the families lived on adjacent property. Lott's brother William Wilson is listed as a farm laborer at the Gallagher farm. This census is dated 8 Jun 1860.
