Matthias Heinly

Matthias Heinly, originally Matthes Heinlein, came to Pennsylvania on the ship "Patience", September 19, 1749, from Wilhelmberg, Wurttemberg, Germany. With him came his wife and 2 sons and 3 daughters. They settled near Lehigh Church in Macungie Twp., Northampton Co. (now Lehigh Co.), PA. Matthias Heinly's wife was Barbara unknown, who died on March 6, 1773 and was buried at Lehigh Church by Rev. Jacob van Buskirk. No gravestone has been found. Matthias Heinly had a will, dated Mar. 2, 1773.
