His wife, Permilia Zellers Beals died 18 years ago. Surviving are two sons and two daughters: J.E. Beals of Nevada, William Beals of California, Mrs. Blanche Jones of Richburg, NY, and Mrs. Lillian Shannon with whom he lived. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 15 great grand children. Also surviving are four sisters: Mrs. Belle Buckalew of Fresno, CA; Mrs. Louise Loughner of South Heights; Mrs. Clara Reed of Knox; and Mrs. Bertha HArtzell of Knox RD; two half-brothers and two half-sisters:Clyde Beals of Tula, OK; Jake Beals; Mrs. Alta Rowe and Mrs. MArgie Hahn of Knox. - Per Duane Shannon Beals, Clara Louise Beals died when daughter Faye McClellan was four years old. Faye was born in 1916, so Clara's death was about 1920. Faye was raised by Clara's sister, Lillian Mae Beals & Maurice Baker Shannon, and grew up with her two cousins Olive Oretta Shannon and Edith Geraldine Shannon.
