They live with seven children: daughter Estella, born Jan 1884; son Lawrence, born Feb 1886; daughter Lizzie, 12, born Dec 1888; daugher Clara, 8, born Oct 1891; daughter Mede, 6, born May 1894; daughter Ida, 3, born Mar 1897; and daughter Mary, 5 months, born Dec 1899. Isaac and Maggie have been married for 17 years and Maggie has given birth to seven children, all of whom are still living. Everyone and their parents were born in PA. Isaac's occupation is listed as "farmer" and Lawrence is listed as a "farm laborer." Isaac, Maggie, Estella, Lawrence, and Lizzie can read, write, and speak English.   • Helen's grandfather was John A. McCandless, buried at the Old Snyder Cemetery: going north on Rt 8, turn left at Muddy Creek Church; follow Old Muddy Creek Rd. to the first left (name not noted). From this (unnamed) road take a left onto another unnamed road; go past some houses and the road circles around to the cemetery, with a stone wall.
