Source notes
The 1870 census lists James Robinson, Jr., as being one year old, which is not consistant with either the 1860 or 1880 records. It is likely a typo in the 1870 census; his true age at the time should be 10.
Research
- The 1850 census yield several James Robison's in PA, but none that can be clearly linked to James Robison, Jr.. The death of both parents between 1840 and 1850 possibly led to the dispersal of the children. The 1844 will indicates that eith Alex McBride or James Clark will be guardian, but the children do not appear with those families in the census.
