Source Notes

  • Per Duane Beals, the children of Harry O. Beals were Harriet & Lauraine Beals; 3 children died in infancy: Gloria, Thelda, and an unnamed son. By permission of George E. Beals, these three infants were buried behind the gravestone of Benjamin & Mary M. Himes Beals at Knox Cemetery, Beaver Twp., Clarion Co. PA. This corroborates that George E. Beals was a son of Benjamin Beals.
  • Gravestones at Knox: Lauraine Beals Lewis, born 1927, would be Martha L. Beals, age 2 5/12 in the 1930 census, daughter of Harry O. Beals.
