Source Notes
- In the 1900 census Jane Heeter (widow of John A. Heater) says she had 3 children, all living. She appears to have misunderstood the question, as in the 1870-1880 census, a total of 6 children are listed. Unless perhaps she were the 2nd wife and mother of only the last 3 born.
