They live with seven children: son James Stoughton, 15; daughter Mary Stoughton, 14; daughter Ann Stoughton, 11; daughter Elizabeth Stoughton, 8; daughter Ellen Stoughton, 4; and daughter Jane Stoughton, 2. John Stoughton is listed as a farmer, Mary Stoughton as "keeping house," and James Stoughton as "farm laborer." Everyone is listed as having been born in PA. Mary Stoughton has a "father of foreign birth." James, Mary, Ann, and Elizabeth attended school within the year. Mary and Ann are listed as unable to write. This census page is undated.
