Emma Frederick was the middle of 3 Frederick sisters. Born in Ashland Twp., Clarion Co. PA near Pine City in 1858, she was six years younger than Mary, and seven years older than Ella. Emma married twice, first to William Lintz. Emma had a daughter Bertha, presumably with Mr. Lintz, but Bertha went by the surname of Frederick. In the 1880 census Emma was divorced and living again with her parents, but Bertha doesn't appear in the census; perhaps she was born after the divorce.
