* The grave of Caroline Snyder is noted as "exhumed" in the records of the Salem Lutheran Cemetery Association. No further explaination is given beyond that notation.  Nancy Beals Walls did some searching for any other gravesite for a Caroline Snyder Bower but nothing has been found to date. Caroline Snyder's parents are also buried at Salem Lutheran, so the body was not for example moved to  the plot of her parents in a different cemetery. The action may have been temporary for some oversight reason, for example moving her from her parent's plot at Salem Lutheran to her husband's.
