Johan Jacob Kline(1796) of Lehigh County PA migrated west to Beaver Twp., Clarion Co. PA. There his son Franklin Kline was born, and in 1872 a grandson Reuben Franklin Kline.

Grewell: Mr. Ruben Frank Kline of Emlenton RD, died at 1:30 P.M., September 25, in his home of a heart condition. He was 87 years old. Mr. Kline was born in Knox, on December 24, 1871, the son of Frank and Matilda Best Kline. He spent his entire life in the Mt. Joy section. Mr. Kline was a coal miner and stone mason by trade. | |

She was born September 15, 1890, in Wentlings Corners, daughter of Charles and Luella May Watson Kline. She married April (misprint - should be August) 17, 1921 to Royal Eldon Fox who preceded her in death April 1, 1972. Surviving are: six (grand) children, 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Leora Kunselman of Sligo RD. Preceding her in death were: one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Mae Shields; three brothers, Robert, Lester and Bert Kline; and one sister, Daisy Henry. Mrs. Fox was a member of the Callensburg United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today from the Hawk Funeral Home in Sligo with Rev. Frank Tulak, pastor of the Callensburg United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in West Freedom Cemetery. | |

Robert Phillip Kline, aged 2 years and 4 days, died in the New Castle Hospital on February 7 (1955). Death was caused by pneumonia. Robert was the son of Robert L. and Donna Klinger Kline, of New Castle R.D. 2. He is survived by his parents, two sisters, Cindy Dianne and Linda Sue, and his grandparents.
Services were held from the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. Kline, Sligo, RD on February 10 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Paul Dunlap conducted the services. Interment was in Mt. Zion Lutheran Cemetery under the direction of Guy M. Hawk. | |

Kline, 49, of Shippenville RD 1 died at 2:30 a.m. Thursday in Clarion Hospital following an illness of a few days. Mr. Kline was born near Knox March 16, 1906, a son of Ruben and Amanda Kline. He was employed by the Owens-Illinois Glass Company in Clarion for the past 12 years. He was married to Mable Kapp November 15, 1932. He is survived by his widow and a daughter, Mrs. Audene Wingard of Shippenville, and three children, Arnold, James and Donna, at home. Also surviving are his father, Ruben Kline, one brother, Rellie of Hughey, and two sisters, Mrs. Edna Olson of Emlenton, and Mrs. Alverda Douthett of Rimersburg. Three grandchildren also survive. The body will be taken to the family home in Shippenville RD today. |
