This research was commissioned by Judy King in 1991. The parents of Dorothea Eliesabeth Schindewolf were Jacob Schindewolf, no birth date recorded, (son of Claus Schindewolf); and Dorothea Rehbein, born 18 March 1769, (daughter of Johannes Rehbein and Anna Schindewolf). They married on 2 Oct. 1788. In Frankershausen Claus Schindwolf resided at house #117. Johannes Rehbein & Anna Schindewolf resided at house #87. Children were 1)Anna Eliesabeth b. 10 Feb 1791; 2) Anna Catharina b. 26 Mar 1792, died same day; 3)Johannes b. 11 Nov 1793; 4) Dorothea b. 22 Mar 1796, d. 17 Jan 1827 in Wolterode; 5) Johannes b. 25 Sept 1798, d. 15 Nov 1798; 6) Johannes b. 14 Nov 1800, d. 4 Mar 1801; 7) Dorothea Eliesabeth b. 28 Nov 1804. |

- It is possible that Dorothea Schindewolf (b. 1796) and Johannes Schindewolf (b. 1798) died young, as their names were used again for later children.
