Ray B. Wilson is not in my direct ancestry. He is 1 step removed in the following ways:

Ray attended Emlenton High School. He served as a private in the army during WWII in Europe, and could not return home in time for his mother's funeral. He married Barbara J. Paden and had five children, two sons and three daughters. The family eventually resided in Fredonia, PA. He at times worked for Bosnal American Company as a truck driver. He frequently enjoyed hunting and fishing at the family cabin in Canada. He received a sizable bequest when his brother John died in 1985, and retired the following year.

They live with six children and a live-in farm laborer: daughter Ruth M. Wilson, 17; son Edwin D., 15; son John T. Wilson, 12; son Russel W. Wilson, 9; son Ray B. Wilson, 6; daughter Allene N. Wilson, 3 years and 10 months; and laborer Lester Lawrence, 43. When Birt W. Wilson and Clara M. Wilson got married, he was 20 and she was 19. All of the children except Allene attended school within the census year. Everyone but Allene can read, write, and speak English. Everyone and their parents were born in PA. Birt W. Wilson's occupation is listed as "Farmer." This census page is dated April 15th, 1930.

Ray B. Wilson of Fredonia, age 90, died Wed., Nov. 6, 2013 at Grove City Hospital after an extended illness. Born 15 July 1923, son of Bert & Clara Wimer Wilson. Attended Emlenton High School. Served as private WWII. Member NRA & American Legion Post 919 of Fredonia PA. Protestant faith. Enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping; spent time in family cabin in Alaska. Worked 20 yrs for Bonsal American Co. of Fredonia; retired 1986. Married in Rocky Grove by the Rev. Frank Towers on 22 Dec 1946 to Barbara Paden, who survives. Survivors include 5 children: Ray E. Wilson (Jean) of Fairbanks, Alaska; Thomas E. Wilson (companion Sharon Benninghoff), Fredonia; Linda R. Cook (Robert) of Hadley; Carol Sue Witryk (Roman) of Groveport OH; Barbara M.
