Source notes
- 1920 Census: The ages for Mack Herron King and Nancy Grace Thomas are low by 10 years in this census. Comparison to previous and later census entries suggest that this is indeed the correct family, and that the ages are simply in error for some reason. The children's ages, however, are correct. Also, the enumerator listed the daughter Robbie King as a son, "Robert."
- 1930 Census: Everyone's ages are now back in order. According to this census, Jetta King can read and write but not speak English, which seems a bit unlikely.
