1 1915 New York State Census, New York City, New York, A-D-27-E-D-02, dated 1 Jun 1915, page 18, lines 36-42:

Biagio Schillaci, 56, lives with his wife Antonina, 50, their son Vito, 20, daughter Catherine Schillaci, 16, son John, 14, son Angelo, 9, and son Salvatore, 7. Everyone except Angelo and Salvatore was born in Italy, have been in the US for 11 years, and are still resident aliens. Angelo and Salvatore were born in the US. Biagio is a building laborer. Vito is a piano maker. Catherine works with "ladys dresses." They live at 217 E. 107th St.

The next family listed (same address), lines 43-46, is Biagio's son, Louis, 24, and his wife Bessie, 19, his mother-in-law Maria Mastara, 44, and his sister-in-law Maria, 16. They were all born in Italy. Louis is a plasterer. Bessie works in "ladys dresses." Both Marias are dress makers.

On the facing page, same address, lines 22-27, is Bernardo Lanza, 30, his wife Maria, 30, their son Carmelo, 9, their son Biagio Lanza, 7, their daughter Catarina, 5, and their son, Joseph Lanza, 3. Bernardo and Maria were born in Italy and are both resident aliens. He has been in the US for 17 years, she has been in the US for 14 years. The children were all born in the US. Bernardo is a plasterer.

Bennie Lanza, 34, lives with his wife Mary, 34; son Carmelo, 13; son Bennie, 12; daughter Katie, 10; son Joseph, 8; and daughter Annie, 4. Bennie, Mary, and their parents were born in Italy. Both Bennie and Mary are still resident aliens. The children were all born in NY. Bennie immigrated in 1893, Mary in 1901. Bennie is a plasterer. They live at 217 E. 107th St.

Bernardo Lanza, 55, lives with his wife Maria, 54, their daughter Nina, 24, and their daughter Giovannina, 17. Bernardo and Maria were born in Italy and are both still resident aliens, Nina and Giovannina were born in NY. Bernardo is a plasterer, Nina is an "operator" in a dress factory. They live at 774 Adee Ave.

She is described as a "house girl." She is unable to read or write. She is from Corleone, Italy. She paid her fare herself. She is in possession of $30. This is her first trip to the United States. She is coming to join her aunt(?) "M. Conc???? Coniglio" at "E. 107th St. #303."

There is another passenger listed on line 12 named Marianna Coniglio, 21, housewife, from Corleone, Italy, going to the same address to live with her sister, Maria Concella(?).

8 New York Passenger Lists, 1820-1957: The S.S. Citta di Milano, sailing from Naples on 20 Mar 1903 and arriving in New York on 5 Jun 1903, contained Antonina Coniglio, 39, as well as Vito Schillaci, 8, Caterina Schillaci, 3, and Giovanni Schillaci, 1. Antonina is described as a "country woman." None of them are able to read or write. They're all from Corleone, Italy, and their final destination is New York. Antonina paid for the journey herself and for the kids. She is listed as being in posession of $40. None of them had ever been to the US before. Antonina is going to join her sister, Maria Schillaci, currently living at 223 E. 103rd St. The children are all listed as joining their "sister," presumably also Maria.

He was born in Corleone, Italy, on 26 Dec 1885. He got married to Maria on 26 Nov 1905 [the petition for naturalization indicates 26 Jul 1905] in New York, NY. She was born in Corleone, Italy, on 14 Dec 1886. She entered the US at New York, NY, on 14 May 1901, and still lives in New York, NY. He has six children: Charles, born 30 Aug 1906, Braga [listed on the petition as "Brigio"], born 16 Dec 1907, Katherine, born 28 Jan 1910, Joseph, born 25 Jan 1912, Nina, born 17 Sep 1915, Jean born 29 Aug, 1922. All children were born in and still reside in Bronx, NY. Bernardo's last foreign residence was Corleone, Italy. He emigrated to the US from Napoli, Italy, and entered the US at New York, NY, under the name Bernardo Lanza on 26 Nov 1899 on the vessel Sempione.
