Letters of Administration, Johannes Klein 1808

Know all men by these presents, that we, Jacob Klein and Nicholas Klein, yowman (sic), both of Macungie Township, Jacob Truckenmiller of Upper Milford Township, mill wright, and John Heinly of Macungie Township, yowman, all of the county of Northampton in Penna. are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the sum of Six Hundred Pounds to be paid to the said Commonwealth: To the which payment well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, jointly and severally, for and in the whole, our heirs, executors and administrators, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals. Dated the fifteenth day of August in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and eight (1808).
The condition of this obligation is such that if the above bounded Jacob Kline and Nicholas Kline, administrators of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of John Kline, late of Macungie Township, aforesaid yoeman, deceased, do make, or cause to be made, a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased, which have or shall come to the hands, possession or knowledge of them the said Jacob and Nicholas, administrators as aforesaid, or unto the hands and possession of any other person or persons for them and the same so made do exhibit, or cause ot be exhibited into the

XXXXXXXX Nicholas, administrators as aforesaid, or unto the hands and possession of any other person or persons for them do well and truly administer according to law. And further do make, or cause to be made, a true and just account of their said admininstration, at or before the fifteenth day of August, 1809. And all the rest and residue of the said goods, chattels and credits, which shall be found remaining upon the said administrators account (the same being first examined and allowed of by the Orphan's court of the county of Northampton) shall deliver and pay unto such person or persons respectively, the said Orphans court by their decree or sentence, persuant to the true intent and meaning of the several laws now in force in this commonwealth shall limit and appoint. And if it shall hereafter appear that any last Will and Testament was made by the said deceased, and the executor or executors therein named do exhibit the same into the said registers office, making request to have it allowed and approved accordingly: and if then the above bounden Jacob and Nicholas Kline

Northampton County to wit.
On the 15th day of August 1808 before me, Geo. Hine, Deputy Register fo the Probate of Wills, Etc. came the within named Jacob and Nicholas Kline who being duly sworn do declare and say that they believe that John Kline died without a will, and that they will well and truly administer all and every the goods of the said deceased, and pay his debts as far as this goods will extend, and that they will exhibit a true, full and perfect inventory of the goods of the said deceased, and render a true account of his administration into the Registers office, when he shall be thereunto lawfully required and also that they are the sons of the said John Kline, deceased, and that the whole of the said goods, chattels, and credits he died possessed of, do not in value exceed the sum of six hundred pounds.
