This photo appears to have been made about 1896-97. Grace Thomas is standing in back row between her mother, Nancy Rebecca Ashley, and her sister Sallie (with braids). Grace was born in 1892 and appears to be about 4 or 5 years old here. Carlisle, son of Joseph L. Thomas, was born in 1896, and looks to be between 6 mos. and 1 yr. old here.
