Source Notes
- Birthplace of Anna Z. Stoughton deduced from residence of her parents in Clay Twp., Butler Co. 1860 - 1900. The possiblity remains that her mother, Margaret Hockenberry, could have gone to her Hockenberry parents' home for the delivery. Their residence is unknown but they are likely one of the several Hockenberry families of Butler County.
- The extended family in the 1930 census indicates that Margaret Searcy had been married previously to s Studebaker, had a child (Leah), but is now married to Stanley Searcy.
