Johann Claus Diederich

NOT A DIRECT ANCESTOR Johann Claus Dietrich is not in my direct ancestry. His great-grandchildren William and Louisa Dietrich married into the Frederick family. See: Children of John Frederick and Anna Catherine Kennemuth Members of the Dietrich and Jung families immigrated from Hitzerode, Germany, to Clarion County PA, as did the Frederick family.

Claus Diederich was a church elderman. At his baptism, his godfather was Claus Meuller. The father of Catherine Jung (wife of Johann Claus Diederich), was Johannes Jung. He died before 1780. Nothing further is known of this Jung family line.
