Lillian Mae Beals was a granddaughter of Samuel Beals Her daughter, Edith Geraldine Shannon, married Walter Benjamin Beals, son of James Sinas Beals and a grandson of William Beals. The marriage of these second cousins brought together the lines of two sons of Jacob Beals and Elizabeth Brey,(i.e. William and Samuel Beals).
