A note in the "NYG&B mss file" details"Anna Selover....dau of Isaac Selover, schoolmaster & choirister of Flatlands in 1695, and Janneken van Wiekenof, wid. of Jan Thyssen. Note: "we have Anna's parents as Isaac Selover and Judith Waldron. (The Covert Family", Fisher, Covert & Patterson, 1979, p 20). Perhaps Jannekenvan Wiekenof was a stepmother since this was her 2nd marriage."

Source notes

  • Date discrepancy for marriage date of Isaac Selover & Judith Waldron: in "Early Settlers of King County...", date is 1 Jan. 1700. On GeneaLinks: "NY Surrogates Office wills, Vol. 3", date is 16 Dec 1699. Is the earlier date a registration date?
