2 1800 United States Federal Census, Mecklenburg Co, NC Salisbury District pg 13 lists family of Valentine Hepp: 2 males <10, 1 males 10-16, 1 male 26-45, 2 females <10, 1 female 10-16, and 1 female 26-44. There are no other Hipp families listed in Ancestry.com's index of the census records for North Carolina. There are two Hepp's (Jacob and Mathias) in Burke County.

3 1810 United States Federal Census, Mecklenburg Co, NC Capt McKinly District pg 4 lists Valentine Hipp: 2 males <10, 2 males 16-25, 1 male >45, 2 females 10-16, 1 female >45 and Andrew Hipp: 1 male 16-25 and 1 female 16-25. Page 2 lists the families of David Hipp: 1 male 26-44, 1 female <10, 1 female 16-25; John Hipp: 1 male 16-25, 1 male 26-44, 4 females <10, 1 female 26-44; and Jacob Hipp: 1 male <10, 1 male 16-25, 1 female <10 , 1 female 16-25. A Jacob Hipp and a John Hipp are in the 1820 census for Buncombe Co, NC (pgs 2 and 3). These are the only Hipp families listed in Ancestry.com's index of these two census records for North Carolina.

Anda(Andrew?): 3 males under 10, 1 male 26-44, 2 females under 10, 1 female 26-44.
John Jr.: 1 male 26-44, 1 female under 10, 1 female 26-44.
John Sr.: 2 males under 10, 1 male 26-44, 2 females under 10, 4 females 26-44.
These appear to be the only Hipp families in the county. Polly Hipp married George W. King in 1821. Several of the women are in the age groups appropriate for Polly Hipp.
