- No record of William Robison can be located in either Iowa or Pennsylvania in the ancestry.com search of the 1850 census.
- Contributor Doris Jean Cochran lists the older daughter as Flossie Jane Robison. The 1880 & 1900 census list her as Mary J. and Mary F. Robison. Her name may have been Mary Florence Robison, as Flossie is sometimes a nickname for Florence.
