Lines 41-47: Household of Reuben Kline, age 51, farmer; wife Harriett, age 41, keeping house; children: Andrew C., 17; Reuben F., 13; Susan L., 8. Stepsons: George N. Say, 20; Leslie L. Say, 17. All and all parents born PA. All children attended school in census year. In census record, Reuben is listed between his nephew Hudson Kline and Reuben's son John M. Kline. Reuben's brother Jacob Kline is on the following page as well as the family of Joseph Weaver. Harriett, Reuben's second wife, was a Weaver.

"Kline, Reuben, Kossuth p.o., Ashland, a merchant and farmer of Kossuth, PA., was born in Lehigh county, Pa., on December 7, 1828, and was a son of John and Anna (Fanstermacher) Kline, who settled in Clarion county, Pa., in 1837, and in Ashland, Pa., in 1847, and cleared and improved the farm which is now owned and occupied by the late Henry Kline. They had a family of eleven children - Henry, Reuben, Jacob, Maria, Catherine, Eliza, Susan, James, Elizabeth, Sarah and {{William O. Kline|William]]. Reuben Kline settled in Ashland, Pa., in 1847, and was married twice. His first wife was Ann E., a daughter of John and Mary (McCleef) Measley, of Ashland, Pa. They had a family of seven children - John M., George W., Harriet L., Maggie A., Andrew C., Reuben F., and Susan L. His second wife was Harriet, a daughter of John and Mary (Kribbs) Weaver, of Ashland, Pa. They have had a family of children. Mr. Kline has served as constable of Ashland, Pa. for seven years, was justice of the peace for five years, and has been engaged in the mercantile business for ten years."

She was born 16 Sept 1889 and died 28 Feb. 1934 aged 67 y 11 mo 17 d. Their children: Paul Vorse Kline; Belle Mary Kline b. 18 Jan 1892; Opal Agnes Kline b. 22 Apr 1897;Lois Janet Kline b. 24 June 1905.
