To his left (to the right in picture)in a dark coat is his first son, Charles Beals. His son, [[James Elgie Beals]] is visible directly over his right shoulder. Elgie's wife, [[Winnifred May Kline]] is in the second row, 2nd from right in dark dress with a white button.  Two of their children are in the picture: [[Bertha Irene Beals]] in front row, 8th from right (of the two little girls dressed in dark dresses, Bertha is on the left, shorter, blonder).  [[Ella  May Beals]] is standing in the second row, directly behind Bertha, also in a dark dress.
