*Our direct ancestor Mary Sophia Snyder (great-granddaughter of Jacob Schneider) married Christophel Weimert, also known as Christopher Wimer.  Records show a Christoffel Wimer on the ship "Fane" arrived in America 8 Oct. 1749, from Rothenstein.  Also on the Fane were two men named Jacob Schneider. Johann Phillip Scneder(Mary Sophia's father) had a brother named Jacob(b. 1735, so age 14 in 1749).
