In an interview by phone on 12 Aug 2008, John Whitehouse confirmed that the David Kline of Clarion County PA is a descendant of Philip Wendel Klein, and these are his direct line ancestors. His mother, grandfather and great-aunt contributed family papers and knowledge to his research. David Klein, son of David Klein b. 1808, was the great-grandfather of John Whitehouse. |
