[edit] Source notes
- There are no additional records at this point (28 Aug 2007) to corroborate the census records for the Scarborough line earlier than Mary Ann Scarbrough. However, the census records seem to delineate the family of Benjamin Scarborough adequately, and the location is consistent with later Scarborough records.
- No record of Benjamin Scarboro could be found in the 1820, 1840 or 1870 census for Montgomery Co.
In the 1840 Montgomery Co census at least one page is missing.
The 1820 census for the entire county is not on Ancestry.com.
- The record on the Ancestry.com OneWorldTree lists Frances's maiden name as Spivey, but no primary source is listed, and we have no corroboration.
