Margaret Marie "Peggy" Kline, 87, of Pine Terrace, Shippenville, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Sunday, September 5, 2010. She was born in Ramseytown on August 21, 1923. She was the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Scadden Nelson.
She married Fred E. Kline, Jr. in Rimersburg on January 14, 1942. They were married by the Reverend Roy Frazer. Peggy and Fred lived in Sligo for 55 years. She and her husband moved to Pine Terrace in 1997.
She worked for First Seneca Bank in Sligo for 13 years. She then worked at the Sears catalog store in Clarion for 11 years.
Peggy was a past matron of the Sligo chapter of the Order of Eastern Star having served in 1954. She was a member of the Manor United Methodist Church in Shippenville. Peggy enjoyed spending time with her family and spending her winters in Myrtle Beach, SC. |
