- Sources 1,2 & 7: We do not know how these various Fulmer and Hartman families are connected but the interwoven locations of the two names is convincing as to the intermarriage of the Fulmers and Hartmans of Lycoming Co. and those gone west to Clarion Co. PA. It is unfortunate that Pennsylvania did not keep birth, marriage, or death records, but left that record keeping to the community churches. Many are lost, and most are difficult to access.
