Source notes
- Source 3, Salem Lutheran Cemetery Association: the listing of "Irvin Bower" refers to Arthur Irwin Bower, son of Paris Bower. The fact that the community knew him as "Irvin" suggests he went by his middle name. The names Irwin and Irvin were often pronounced alike in that era, whether given names or surnames.
