Murphy, 53, living with his wife Olive J. Murphy, 50, their son Francis M. Murphy, 25, their son-in-law Frederick W. Huf, 27, their daughter Margaret E. Huf, 20, their grandson Frederick W. Huf Jr., 19 months, and a boarder named Curtis E. Bingley, 35. Marion and Olive have been married for 30 years and have had three children (only two present here), Frederick and Margaret have been married for 3 years and have had one child (present here). Marion, Olive, and Francis were born in Indiana. The elder Frederick was born in New York. Margaret and the younger Frederick were born in Missouri. Marion's father was born in Virginia, his mother in Vermont. Olive's father was born in New York, her mother in Tennessee. The elder Frederick's parents were both born in "Ger. Germany." Marion and his son are both listed as being "proofreaders" in the newspaper business. They live on Marquette Ave.

The children are all in school. The elder Frederick was born in New York, Jett was born in Virginia, everyone else was born in Missouri. The elder Frederick's parents were born in Germany. The elder Margaret's parents were born in Indiana. Jett's father was born in Virginia and his mother was born in New York. The elder Frederick is listed as being a court reporter. They live on Marquette Ave.
3	1930 United States Federal Census, St. Louis, MO, Supervisor's District 8, Enumeration District 96-144, Page 31A lines 15-19 lists Frederick Huf, 47, living with his wife Margaret Huf, 40, their son William F. Huf, 21, their daughter Margaret Huf, 19, and their daughter Sylvia Huf, 16. At the time of their first marriage, the elder Frederick was 23 and the elder Margaret was 17. The elder Frederick was born in New York, everyone else was born in Missouri. The elder Frederick's parents were born in Germany. The elder Margaret's parents were born in Indiana. Paradoxically, all of the children have their parents listed as being born in Indiana as well [probably typo on the part of the enumerator]. The elder Frederick is listed as being a "Short Hand Reporter" at the court house. The younger Frederick is a Clerk at ?? Pacific ?????. The younger Margaret's occupation is illegible, but the field is "music." They live on Marquette Ave.
