Source Notes
- Source W2 -The Waldron Family of Greene County NY... lists spouses Annetje Daniels and Joseph Willemszen Waldron as half-siblings, both children of Maria Goverts (1585-after 1661) but with different fathers. (If correct, this explains why the research on Maria Goverts has seemed to lead back on itself illogically.) On this website, two marriages are listed for Maria Goverts, and it is unclear whether they believe there to have been two marriages, or whether they are just listing all found information on the name Maria Goverts. It is highly possible that two different individuals are being traced, possibly one from Amsterdam and one from Haarlem.
