10	Marriage Register for Mecklenburg Co., NC, includes an entry for L. B. Lowder, 24, marrying M. A. Plummer, 23, on 13 Jun 1894 in Charlotte, NC. Witnesses include E. S. Pritchett, L. L. Hackney, and Q? A. Plummer. There is an entry from earlier that year for an A. A. Lowder, 23, marrying a Janice C. Faires, 16, on 21 Feb 1894 at Millard Creek and one of the witnesses is M. A. Plummer. It seems likely that this is Margarette Arabella Plummer witnessing the wedding of her soon-to-be brother-in-law or cousin-in-law.

• From the census of 1870, 1880, & 1900, it appears that Maggie (born Dec. 1869), Arabella (age 11 in 1880, born 1869), and Margate A. (born Nov. 1871) are the same person, Margaret Arabella Plummer. The 1894 marriage license lists her as M. A. Plummer; the 1917 death certificate, as Margarette Arabela Kennerly.
