2	1900 United States Federal Census, Charlotte Township, Mecklenburg County, NC, Enumeration District 42, Page 49, lines 24-28 lists Joe King, 29, born Sep 1871, married to Lula King, 28, born Jan 1872. They have been married for four years. Lula has given birth to two children, both of which still live in the home: son Fred O. King, 3, born May 1897, and son William F. King, born May 1899.
