This Indenture made this Second day of March in the year of Our Lord Eighteen hundred and Twenty four Between John Stoughton of the County of Butler State of Pensylvania of the one part. And William Stoughton of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth Whereas the Said John Stoughton became vested with the ___ Interest and claim of in and to a certain Tract of land by Deed of Conveyance from Stephen Allen Deed bearing date the first day of January AD 1876 the same being and lying in Centre Township Butler County and bounded by land of Samuel Stoughton on the north, Thomas Allen on the East, Robert Patterson on the South and John Thompson on the west Reference to the Records of said County will more fully show. Now know ye that for and in consideration of the sum of Seventy five Dollars in hand paid before the ensealing and dellivery of these the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and Sold and do by these presents grant Bargain Sell, remise, release, and forever quite claim to fifty acres of the aforementioned tract of land to be laid off acres the north end of Said tract by Parrallel lines. And by these presents do grant bargain sell Remise, Release and forever quite claim unto the Said William Stoughton, his heirs and assigns all the aforesaid fifty acres Together with all and Singular the Buildings and apurtenans there unto belonging or in any wise apertaining To have and to hold the said fifty acres to him the said William Stoughton his heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal the day and year first written.
