Know all men by these presents that I Arguil King of the county and state aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of $100 dollars to me in hand paid by Collin C. King of the County and State of mecklenburg N.C, the__ & payment whereof I do hereby acknowledge (hath) bargained sale & by these presents ___bargain sold & quit claim to all my rights to the claim of interest to all my share in the estate of my half brother David McCormick deceased which is now in the hands of Wm. M. McCormick which said estate I do hereby relinquish all title, claim, & interest to the said Collin C. King, his heirs and asigns forever to his & their only proper use and hereby willingly set my hand & seal this 10th day of Feb. A.D. 1826. (signed) Arguil King


Know all men by these presents that I Collin C. King for & in consideration of the sum of $155 dollars to me in hand paid by Abraham Scott have by these presents ___set over transfer bargain & sell my interest right title & claim to the estate of David M. McCormack dec'd. & all the right title interest & claim of Arguil King in the same are transfered to me by the within instrument of writing to the said Abraham Scott & do hereby ___ & empower the said Abrhm Scott to take & use all lawful ways & means for the recovery of the same & when recovered to keep to his own use. Witness my hand & seal March 2, 1826. Collin C. King
