=Research Wishlist=
* Figure out the inconsistencies in the 1840 and 1850 census.  What is listed here may be inaccurate.
* 1870 census:  I have manually gone through the entire census for Muddy Creek Township, Butler County.  The only Wilson household listed is that of William's brother, Lot. Lot has a son called William, but he is only 3 in 1870, whereas the William of interest here should be 37.  No other William Wilson's were to be found in this township.   There is a William Wilson of the correct age in an adjacent township (Slippery Rock Twp., Lawrence Co.), but looking forward to the 1880 census for this William suggests that perhaps it is the wrong guy (parents born in Scotland).
