Dawson, 58, born Feb 1842, lives with his wife Rhoda Dawson, 38, born Nov 1861, their daughter Cora L. Dawson, 16, born Jul 1883, and their son Fred A. Dawson, 8, born Jul 1891. Henry and Rhoda have been married for 17 years. Rhoda has given birth to two children, both of which are still alive. Henry was born in IN, his father in PA, and his mother in VT. Rhoda was born in IN, her father in PA, her mother in OH. Fred was born in OH, Cora in IN. Henry is a timber buyer. They live West Arch St.

8	Indiana Marriage Collection, 1800-1941 includes a record for Henry Lee Dawson marrying Mary F. Vanlaningham on 30 May 1867 in Hancock Co., IN.
9	Civil War Draft Registration Records for Indiana, 6th congressional district, Vol. 5, page 156, dated Aug 1863. Line 6 is the entry for Henry L. Dawson, 21, of Centre Twp. Henry is a single farmer. He is listed as having former military service in the 24th Indiana Regiment.
