6	'Correspondence of James Voltz 2008 - ongoing. One of Jane Stoughton (b. 1821) & Thomas Boyles children was Martha Boyle(b. 26 Mar 1843 / wed 1 July 1863 / d. 2 Mar 1873. - dates from Jim's aunt's book) who married John Edward Hagan. It is said that he was a Missouri farmer.

Source notes

• John Edward Hagan, spouse of Martha Jane Boyle, was the step-son of Martha Jane's uncle Barnard VanZandt Stoughton through Barnard's second wife, Susan Myer (Hagan). Thus John Edward Hagan and Martha Jane Boyle would be unrelated, but rather like "step-cousins".
