<br>Lorraine King Jones, 88, of Charlotte, died Friday, August 3, 2007 at White Oak Manor.  A native of Charlotte, she was the daughter of the late John Irvin King and Deanie Diane Courtney King.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, J. I. King, Jr.; 2 sisters, Jeanette Foil and Gladys Stone; and son-in-law, Jerry Williams.  A loving mother and grandmother, she enjoyed helping others.  she was a self-taught pianist who had a love for gospel music.  for many years she played piano and sang with a gospel group called "The Friendly Five".<br>She is survived by her children, bob Jones and wife, Marlene of Charlotte, Larry Jones, Randy Jones and wife, Janice, all of Matthews, Annette Williams of charlotte, and Catherine Long and husband, Larry of clover, SC; sisters, Merriam Gardner and Peggy Smith both of Mint Hill; nine grandhcildren and eleven great-grandchildren.<br>Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Matthews United Methodist church. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home.  Arrangements are in care of Forest Lawn West, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28209.  Guest Book on-line at Charlotte.com
